(bottle) Giant beige head atop clear, medium-brown body. Aroma is mild sweet, nutty, some caramel, earthy, light cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, nutty, caramel, some roasty, faint earthy in the swallow. Light-medium body. This one is definitely all about the malts. Very good for a brown.

12oz bottle. Rating #40. Clear, dark brown pour with a light beige head. Light sweetness, mild toasted aroma. Flavor has a bit more to it than the aroma, nutty with a bigger toasted presence and a bit of caramel in the finish, pretty tasty stuff. (2204)

355ml bottle pours brown in color with a 2 finger off-white head that settles down to produce some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and light roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Taste is light roasted malt bitterness with some caramel sweetness followed up with a mild hoppy bitter finish. Medium body with light carbonation. One of the better brown ales I have tasted over the years.

Draught at the brewhouse in Redmond. Clear brown with a creamy head. Light toasty malt in the aroma but not much. This flavor with just a touch of toasty malt and some alcohol spice. This body. Bland overall. This needs more body and malt character.
