COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the name implies, this is one “knock-out” of a beer. Brewed to be a light bodied, refreshing ale, Blonde Bombshell combines subtle malt and wheat flavors with a delicate Liberty hop aroma to create a sensational beer. Originally brewed as a seasonal, this beer was so popular it pushed its way into our regular line-up.

On Tap at Cascade Lakes Lodge Very light golden color with a thin white head. Very faind light grain aroma with expectedly pale light malt and fairly sweet papery flavor as well. Very lively carbonation. Thin feel and a slightly woody bitter trailer. Rather lager-ish

Sampled draught at Cascade Lakes Lodge, Bend
Pale color with light head. Fruity nose of hops with light malt. Flavor is creamy & malty, full bodied & rounded, a bit watery in the finish & nutty grain flavor. Decent blonde, lots of buttery diacetyl but blends well.

Sham (1846) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2005
Light gold with a filmy white head and thick stringy lacing. Lightly lemony for the citrus. Mild malts. Not a lot here in the nose, maybe a bit musky. Musky malts and lemons come out again. Decent body with a citrus and bitter tail.

Draft at the Lodge in Bend. Clear solid yellow color. Grainy nose with a typical sour grain flavor and no noticable hops whatsoever. Feels like a bud-light, Fizzy.

Reid (1434) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - MAY 16, 2004
On tap at "The Lodge" in Bend, OR. Typical blonde lager colour..pale yellow, wispy head, livelly carbonation Very faint aroma..some light grainy smell..not much else. Pretty sweet taste for most of the mouthful, then a very light hop kick then more sweetness to finish Sweet and somewhat cloying on the palate. Drinkable..yes, but not any better than a regular "macro"
