3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ummm. ..kinda a typical Cascade Lakes product. Meaning: itís a consistant, reliable brew that has that certain CL profile. Not over the top but not sub standard. Really a great value on tap at the Lodge. Never been a fan of their marketing choices. Label etc. But please donít shy away from this IPA.

65 IBU. Tasted in a frozen mug. Copper color. Mostly clear. Very thin head. Great hoppy aroma. Not as smooth as some ipa's, but good. Pleasant aftertaste.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Geez I donít get all the ho-hum reviews of this- I really like it! Poured at a good temperature with a medium sized, foamy, cream-colored head that soon subsided to a light cover and some lace. Color is a slightly hazy orange amber with some tiny bubble trails. Aroma is hops up front with resin, citrus, spice, malt in the background and a bit of wet cardboard. Flavorís much like nose with tang and hop on top a hint of sweet below. Body/carbonation are perfect. Finish is like flavor, has some significant alcohol warmth, and is quite long. Very drinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mild IPA, not quite the usual bite others are known for from this region. Light amber in color with thin head. Aroma is subdued hops, taste is caramel malt with a tiny hops nip at the tail end. Some lingering bitterness on the palate. A good started IPA for someone not used to the style.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Not a very good IPA IMO. Orangish golden pour. Sweet flavor with lots of tea notes. Mild to medium bitterness, orange citrusy notes. Little resemblance of. West coast IPA. Needs work

Clear light amber color with ivory head. Fruity, yeasty, pale malt, mild vegetal aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Light fruity sweet flavors balanced by some pine hop bitterness---not bad.

Orange-yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is full of biscuit, toffee and heather. The flavor is grass and orange from the hops as well as a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
