Honey amber hue. Rocky head with excellent lacing. Herbal aroma. Silky texture and a very complex flavor profile. Very well balanced. ~m --RaucusBacchus

Geez I donít get all the ho-hum reviews of this- I really like it! Poured at a good temperature with a medium sized, foamy, cream-colored head that soon subsided to a light cover and some lace. Color is a slightly hazy orange amber with some tiny bubble trails. Aroma is hops up front with resin, citrus, spice, malt in the background and a bit of wet cardboard. Flavorís much like nose with tang and hop on top a hint of sweet below. Body/carbonation are perfect. Finish is like flavor, has some significant alcohol warmth, and is quite long. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2012 Bomber, floral, grass, citrus, nice balanced ipa, not super hoppy but just enough to put a smile on your face if you like ipaís. I could drink several of these in a row and feel good about it. The guys at Cascade Lakes have got my attention after sampling a couple of their different brews now. Look out Deschutes.........

Solid if unspectacular. Not overly hoppy -- almost more malt-forward. Hop flavor is quite resin-oriented. This may be the most resinous IPA Iíve had at this low an ABV. Bitterness present, but subdued. Good.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. It poured a cloudy gold with a beige head and lots of lacing rings. Nose of hops - floral, pine, and some light citrus. Medium in body with a clean mouthfeel. Flavor of fruit lots of the hops mostly pine and flowers. Well balance and with a light bitter and flavorful finish Quite good.

65 IBU. Tasted in a frozen mug. Copper color. Mostly clear. Very thin head. Great hoppy aroma. Not as smooth as some ipa's, but good. Pleasant aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is not a bad IPA. There isnít much about this as an IPA that really stands out against others. I do enjoy the bitterness of this beer but it does lack the overall aroma and quality of a high standard 8 -10 beer.

On draft at Ventis. Light copper color, white head with decent lacing. Smells citrusy and spicy. Big hop flavor up front with a pleasant lingering bitterness at the end. Medium body. Typical of the NW IPA style, though still light in color enough to qualify as ípaleí.

Hazy orange amber color with creamy head. And easy IPA with good bitterness level but showing some age, the hop having lost some fresh power. Itís soft and it almost had some vanilla character.
Pleasant but easy.

Bottle:   Heavily hazed orangish amber, sediment abounds, moderate frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft sweet citrusy hop nose.   Straight forward, but not grainy or pithy.   Nice smooth bitterness, not too big but enough to get a good citrusy flavor, clean backside, with a nice malt base.   This is really surprising.   Very smooth and tasty.   This one isnít a bruiser, but instead its very well balanced.   Does somewhat come across as a really malty Pale Ale, but has enough IPA flavor to hold out.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish, juicy, and hoppy without being overly bitter.   I had mixed expectations on this one, but wow was it good.
