carboloader (258), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 4, 2008 Visited the brew pub in Bend, OR. This was the best in he sampler in my opinion, but I’m a big, biased, IPA fan already. Pours pale golden yellow with some carbonation and a white head with nice lacing. Fruity, piney, delicious to the style hops, with a dry bitter finish. A very tasty IPA in the Northwest style. SuzyGreenberg (768), Seattle, Washington, USA Jan 14, 2008 sampled @ cascade lodge (bend) - clear orange with slight white head; strong hop aromas mixed with citrus; decent flavors, but a pretty standard IPA; slight bitter aftertaste BuckeyeBoy (1025), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 24, 2007 Tap at Cascade Lakes Lodge pours out light amber topped with a white head. nice hop aroma. Bitter hops on the palate. jake65 (1179), Meridian, Idaho, USA May 22, 2007 Draft at the Brewpub: Dark golden pour with a medium white head and nice lacing. Nose is hoppy with citrus and pine. The taste is moderately hopped with pine, light citrus, caramel, and sweet fruitiness. Lingering hops in a dry tail. BrewDad (1528), Olympia, Washington, USA Nov 13, 2006 [Draft - Bend, Oregon] A deep golden color thick head IPA. had a fruity aroma with a good amount og hops used. This was a decent IPA had some good flavors it was easy to drink and did not kill your taste buds. Not Bad, needed a tad more hops to be a true NW IPA.
