jake65 (1657), Williston, North Dakota, USA May 22, 2007 Draft at the Brewpub: Orange pour with a medium white head and good lacing. Nose is sweet with citrus and malt, some piney hops. The taste is more on the citrus hops side with light pine notes, caramel, and maltiness. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA May 5, 2007 Bottle: Orangish straw, soft haze, moderate frothy white head, fairly nice lacing, mild carbonation.   Soft straw on the nose,
very slight mildew.   Raw straw on the tongue.   Very little hop profile.   Seems like more of a robust pilsner than an American
Pale Ale.   Cereal like finish, mild sweetness, a bit raw but drinkable.   Hop it up a bit to cover up the flaws and then we’re
talking.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Overall, just not big enough.
hayduke (1619), Eureka, California, USA Mar 20, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle it poured a golden color with medium white head and good lacing. Nose of floral hops and citrus. Mild mouthfeel and nice hoppy flavors. Clean brisk finish. Nice and easy drinking and a very delightful APA. greenhorn1 (458), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jan 15, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a light straw color, small head, nice lacing, medium carbonation. Nice mild floral and grapefruit aroma. Flavor similiar, nice cascade hop taste. This could be a great beer if it was not so watered down. Easy to drink. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Nov 13, 2006 [Draft - Bend, Oregon] A light golden colored brew with a nice head. The aroma was light and crips the beer drank easy and this was the beer for after working hard all hday in the forest up in Bend. A good session beer. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Nov 6, 2006 Finally something a little different than the rest of the APAs. Orange body. Aroma is grapefruit and pine, but also some citrusy spicy hops with more notes of fruity goodness. An enjoyable APA. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Oct 20, 2006 This pale ale pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is herbal and floral hops, some lemongrass as well. A medium to lighter bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and a touch citrusy. Nice balance. Nice orange citrusy highlights. Nice drinking APA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. AlabastorJones (762), San Francisco, California, USA Feb 16, 2006 a Pine Marten is a weasel? huh, all this time I assumed it was a beer named after an overpriced mountain top lodge, bachelor you rock my world, rating a beer with a misspelled ratebeer ID, more closely resembles cambodian folk music, gives off a malty stench, nice piney hop bite, crispy and citric, though I do not taste the ferret, clean finish, let’s run a spell check next time eh MJames? eh? come on buddy, you’re beter than that.
