Small amounts of shortbread dough, not much else to notice. boFNjackson (1328), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2008 Bottle... Poured pale gold with a white head. Aroma of hops and cracker grains. Very crisp and refreshing which is great for a hot day, but very ordinary tasting. Candy-malt and inoffensive hops are primary with other grassy, herbal flavors towards the finish. glkaiser (1182), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2009 Pours a golden color with a thin layer of foam. Light aroma of peach and citrus hops. The taste is balanced with light malt and some fruity esters. It comes across as a bit too thin and lacking some flavor, even for 5.1% ABV. But, it’s a fine beer to crack after a hike up a mountain. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2008 12 oz single, with a new style label. In apprearance a clear golden ale with a small white head. The aroma is very delicate and subdued, mostly lightly toasted malts with barely a twinge of the hop aromas promised on the label. There are certainlly more hops making an appearance in the taste, but they cant overwhelm the thick layered malts, I also get a touch of honey like sweetness. Pretty average mouthfeel. Overall not a great beer, but would suffice in a Central oregon summer day Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Pale gold pour with a middling head. Aroma is a mixture of malt and hop with a bit of a floral scent thrown in for good measure. Pretty decently hopped for an APA, but the flavor is a bit muddy and there is definite room for improvement.
