scrizzz (1252), kirkland, Washington, USA Aug 28, 2009 biscuit malt aroma with some some sunny dry hops, light all around. clear watery gold, bare minimum head. i agree with glkaiser here, it’s very light and somewhat lacking. Small amounts of shortbread dough, not much else to notice. glkaiser (1150), Seattle, Washington, USA May 17, 2009 Pours a golden color with a thin layer of foam. Light aroma of peach and citrus hops. The taste is balanced with light malt and some fruity esters. It comes across as a bit too thin and lacking some flavor, even for 5.1% ABV. But, it’s a fine beer to crack after a hike up a mountain. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 12, 2009 Sample taster at John’s Market Place. Beardface (977), Eugene, Oregon, USA Dec 8, 2008 Pale gold pour with a middling head. Aroma is a mixture of malt and hop with a bit of a floral scent thrown in for good measure. Pretty decently hopped for an APA, but the flavor is a bit muddy and there is definite room for improvement. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 16, 2008 Bottle.
