3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sweet and wholesome malt-forward brew with hints of Hawaiian bread, caramel and syrup. A little too sweet for me, though it does have a slight hop snap. Sweetness lingers and reminds me of sugarcoated pine and gummy candy. OK beer, but not overly exciting or festive.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber colored, with rocky beige head. Toasted amber and chocolate malt nose, quite nice. Flavor is similarly toasted amber malt, with nibbets of chocolate mixed in. Easy sipper that seems closer to 5.5% than 6.9% ABV. This is a solid toasted amber brew.

Out of the bottle from Fred Meyer. Pours a dark brown with a very small head. Smell is a little grainy as well as the taste. Pretty average beer all around.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A Winter Seasonal English Strong Ale. Ever since moving to the Pacific N.W. I havenít seen the point of making Winter beers. There is no winter in Oregon, just a slightly colder version of Fall/Spring. Anyways, the beer......
It is considerably strong, bitter, cringe-worthy. Heavy flavor, distinct taste. If it had been snowing this evening, Iím sure I would have liked this beer even more.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is the same beer as santas helper just relabeled.
Bought at Boise coop
Look red with copper tones. White foamy head that disappears soon leaving lace
Smell not very strong. I kind of want more out of that..
Taste- a red with more flavor. Great spice but not overpowering. I can taste the malt in there without wishing I hadnít.
Feel. Smooth medium body.
Overall a great beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz single from Fred Meyer, S.Salem store. $1.25
Nice clear brown ale with a luscious light tan head..that is bubbly and creamy thick.
Good choclate ,coffee aromas..a whiff of what seems like whipped cream. Pleasant.
Taste is peppery coffee and cream, dark chocolate and a touch of pipe tobacco even getting a touch of peppermint and ginger..very nice really
Good strong mouthfeel..coasting but not uncomfortable.
Overall i found this a very nice beer for the colder weeks.

Bottle from Brewforia (pretty sure!). Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma of bread and perhaps cocoa. Itís certainly a darker breadiness. Med body. Flavor is bready and I do think chocolate. But thereís something that suggests diacetyl, but I donít think thatís it. Itís pretty balanced, and itís pretty tasty - it just has something that suggests xmas brew. Worth drinking.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Disappointing. Bottle. Almost no aroma. Deep brown old ale colour with almost no head. Thin malty flavour, Thin biscuity finish.
