blueduk (118), Eugene, Oregon, USA Apr 1, 2007 (Draft at the brewpub Bend) Pours hazy orangey gold with a big white foamy head.
Aromas of banana and citrus (lemon) and wheat bread. This is decidedly not an American-style wheat.
Light-bodied, crisp and clean. There’s a bit of sweetness mixed with the tangy finish which I found a little unusual. Best wheat beer in the Bend area. BrewDad (1553), Olympia, Washington, USA Nov 13, 2006 [Draft - Bend, Oregon] A nice darker golden color brew hazy in the apperance and had a nice head. A deep wheat flavor and a hint of banana and cloe in the flavor and nose. This was a great brew to drink I liked it. No lemon needed this was a beer with some flavor. ABUSEDGOAT (1868), California, USA Nov 6, 2006 Pale golden. Aroma is very wheaty with notes of lemons, bananas, bread and more wheat. Nice tart finish. This one offered way more than the American wheats from the other 2 Bend brewers I visited.
