3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taster at the brewery. Pours clear, dark rose, no head. Very aromatic nose. Palate is full of tart blackberry. Medium body. Leaves a sour taste on the finish as well, which isn’t shocking. I need more practice with these sour ales.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Uber in Seattle. Very pretty cranberry pour with minuscule filmy head. Big sweet fruity nose. The sour wafting off is very juicy, with just a touch of the funk. Light ale at first before a wave of heavy cider and juice. Beautifully tart, roundly red fruit. More raspberry to me than tart ripe blackberry. Very good

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Live rate at the Racoon Lodge!!! Dark raspberry pour with a small white ring of a head that surprisingly left more than a spot or two of lacing. Aroma is lemonpeel, blackberries, dark fruit, and caramel undertones. Very drinkable. A bit of tart, a hint our sour, subtle funk, and lots of berries. Ample carbonation. Yum!!!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Poured a clear berry-red color with a thin pink head that quickly disappeared. Aroma of sweet blueberry pie filling, a light bretty funk, and some faint acidity. Crisp, lightly sweet entry leads into a moderate tartness paired with some berry sweetness before leading into a lightly dry, softly bitter hoppiness offset by a tart brett yeastiness that imparts a light lemon flavor on the finish. Fine carbonation and lightly bubbly, crisp mouth feel. Overall, it was a rich, fruity beer that was reminiscent of New Glarus’ fruit beers, but like those, it was a tad one dimensional.

Draft. Ruby red beer with a pinkish head. Red fruit aroma with tartness and some earthiness. Great tart berry flavor with oak and acetic notes. Medium bodied. Sour/tartness lingers with berry, oak, and earthiness.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into a tulip glass. Clear pink, with a big fizzy head, it almost looks like a sparkling rose. It smells of berries, fruits and funk. This beer has a lot of fruit flavor, but a lot more tartness, this is perhaps the driest tasting berry beer I have ever had. My only Issue is the deeper I get into the glass the more I get an off brett flavor of plastic and bandaids. The beer is very fizzy almost like a champagne and it goes down well
