The color of this Award Winning strong blonde belies its rich stout flavor from Oblique Coffee Roasters Landauer blend. Close your eyes, smell the coffee and drink in sweet cream malts and chocolate roasted malt flavors. Beer and coffee combine and soar in strength of craft of both brewer and roaster.

"Not sure how to class this. Guess in the end it doesn’t matter. They call it a blonde porter, we hear it referred to as a blonde stout, but due to appearance it’s classed as an ale. Smells and tastes of iced coffee. Creamy soft palate and wonderful finish. "

On tap at the brewery. Pours a rich golden color. Moderate carbonation. Heavy coffee flavor. Does not taste like it looks. Good beer, would try again.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours blonde with a large white head. The aroma has lots of cocoa and coffee, but also crisp bready pale malt like a golden ale. It has a medium smooth body with really soft carbonation. The flavor starts with cocoa, pale bready malt, coffee bitterness, some fruit and berries. The finish has an odd mix of spice, cocoa and bread. Interesting.

Draft. Pours a blonde with a pure coffee aroma. I’ve never seen a stout look like this. Very surprised. Mostly coffee and cream flavor with a roasted finish. Very interesting, unique beer.

Draught. I did not know what to think of this at first... Pours a mostly clear copper color with a moderate white head, and I never would have guessed anything stout-like from it. Nose is heavily laden with coffee, and just a bit of bread coming through. Taste is also saddled with a lot of coffee, though it remains light and smooth, with some nice roasting to it as well. I like it.

blonde with a thin white wisp ring. Green coffee, bit grassy with vomit hints. Soft lactic profile throughout, muted roast with sweet hints, more coffee than chocolate, roasts balance. Palate too soft, no contrast. Step out a bit.

Poured from tap to glass. Golden straw hue with white foamy head. Aroma is cold pressed coffee, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roasted grain, honey. Mouthfeel is nice with moderate light body and great carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a nice astringent bitterness following and dry finish. Overall a crazy brew to pull these flavors out of a light hued brew.
