The color of this Award Winning strong blonde belies its rich stout flavor from Oblique Coffee Roasters Landauer blend. Close your eyes, smell the coffee and drink in sweet cream malts and chocolate roasted malt flavors. Beer and coffee combine and soar in strength of craft of both brewer and roaster.

pretty awesome beer, taste and smell don’t match up at all with the golden amber look of this beer .. . lots of coffee, sugar, grain, and light toast notes .. . mouth is ample .. clean lighter finish .. . people say time is money- well I don’t buy that for a second

On tap at Cascade Brewing Barrel House. A surprising, bright clear amber body with a white head. Loads of exceptionally appealing coffee aroma and flavor. Lively carbonation to go with the medium body. Highly recommended.

Taster at the brewery. Clear gold with a two-finger dense white head that dissipates slowly and leaves very nice lace. Strong creamy coffee aromas with roasted malts and a touch of chocolate. Taste is similar, with a strong yet delicate coffee and lactose sweetness. Medium body and carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation and a soft finish. Very reminiscent of really good coffee ice cream.

Tap at the Raccoon Lodge. Pours dark gold with a white head. Coffee is primary in the aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is very coffee, with a hint of chocolate, and perhaps a touch of vanilla. Clearly one of the good coffee stouts, even if it isn’t black. :)

On tap @ Cascade Barrel House. Golden colored beer with white foam. Smells like coffee and cream, that’s for certain. Some vanilla, hazelnut, and a touch of caramel. Fairly sweet, particularly like a hazelnut vanilla creamer sort of thing going on. Light spiciness of coffee, some cocoa powder, and plenty of actual coffee flavor. Not bad.

Pours light Amber, almost gold, translucent. Small off white head. Nose has some light roasted coffee bean. Taste has more of a cocoa take, light sweetened coffee. Cool and interesting.

"Not sure how to class this. Guess in the end it doesn’t matter. They call it a blonde porter, we hear it referred to as a blonde stout, but due to appearance it’s classed as an ale. Smells and tastes of iced coffee. Creamy soft palate and wonderful finish. "
