3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pour at special brews. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a lasting head. Really hoppy aroma for a pilsner. At least in my opinion. Creamy body here. Thick, flavorful, and really easy drinking. A nice addition to the style. Enjoyed this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
"Mmmm, overly hoppy imperial pilsner. Cloudy yellow. Sweet cereal and grassy hops abound. Medium bodied and full flavored. Like a stronger prima pils. Good stuff!"

Draft at Cascade Barrel House in Portland, OR on 29 May 2013. Poured a clear light golden colour with a dense white head. Light aroma; some lager malt and a little grassy hop. Flavours started out with a little hop bite, but ended rather watery.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Somewhat darker than a pilsener is usually. Aroma is like a good pilsener, say Victory Prima or Pilsener Urquell. Flavour is pilsenery with a fuller hop note. This is not an IPA, this is a hoppier pils. I wonder if in the early days some brewer said, "The Graf likes hoppy beers. Make one like this for him.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour with a thin white head. Huge grapefruit citrus aroma with a bit of lemon rind. Taste is nice and similar to aroma - feels like a nice mix of IPA and pilsner which means they’re doing it right. Kind of puzzling and a nice break from the sour lineup I was pounding on their patio.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Cascade, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is like a traditional Czech pilsner, with spicy hops, dry bready notes and grass. Flavour is similarly, marrying the IPA and pilsner quite well, but more so on the pilsner side, with dry grassy hops, some spicy hops and dry biscuity malt. Solid thirst quenching pilsner, but nothing remarkable.
