Tried this in 2008, but thought Iíd rate it anyway. As far as pale lagers can go, this is certainly one of the best. Lacks the offensive metallic/chemical characteristics of cheaper brews, and is actually drinkable. The aroma and flavour lacks any real sophistication, and is fairly thin. Passable, though.

Pours gold with a small sudsy head. Aroma is faint with grainy malt and subtle grassy hops. Grainy malt is quite dirty really. Flavours include a fair bit of malt surprisingly, slight grainy, somewhat bready. Faint grassy hops also show, finishing with a restrained bitterness. Too much carbonation. Much too much. Ridiculous.

Bottle. Pale golden with scant head. Aroma and flavors are dry, herbal with cilantro and grassy. Thin but nice. The flavors have some mild grapefruit in the finish that make this one worth drinking.

Just your standard lager. Grainy, grassy nose, basic flavours. Although this lager seems less sugary than other mainstream ones, and a little fruitier, too.

Light yellow. The aroma is appley and maybe with a hint of bread. Bready taste. Light spicy hops - no bad balance for a macro. Sure itís sweet and bland, but itís balanced and drinkable.

Bottle 375ml. Boring. Aroma has straw, and cardboard. Flavour is sweet, with some bitterness at the end. Palate is thin and watery, with a dry finish. Yellow colour, the head is frothy, but it doesnít last.

375ml bottle. Pours pale gold, two fingers of white head. Aroma is of mild sweet malts. Medium bodied and quite bubblegum sweet. A little skunky at the end. Thereís not that much wrong with this, itís just dull. I seem to recall this being quite a bit better, but there you go.

375ml bottle. Looks thin and watery and bright golden in colour with a thick foam head. Hops dominate the aroma with corn and grass clippings coming through. Dry and slightly bitter taste with a long bitter aftertaste, horrid. Nothing about this beer is premium.

- Iíve cleaned up the review I had that was filled with curses and negativity...so I removed the cursing. Iíve yet to have a bottle of this stuff that didnít pour out a bunch of unwanted moldy looking floaties. Yellow gold beer with a good rocky white cap, messy lacing and decent retention. The smell smells. Only on occasion has my beer not stunk like the entrance to Ratís Nest Cave near Canmore. The last time was so horrid that I downed it in one shot just to be rid of it. Iíve added bready malts to a long list of beer insults that Iíve removed (words like eye watering, paint, pungent brutal... ect.... oops). The taste is up and down. The hop flavour doesnít work for me at all. Theres also a good amount of old grass and some bready malts. Mouth feel was less than acceptable with chemicals and persistant bad breath. Highly overpriced ass beer.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Sweet aroma. Sweet, grainy, malty, soft flavour, crisp finish, a bit too sweet.
