1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
I was at a wedding and it was either this or corona so i went with this. Very dull aroma and an ever so slight citrus flavour. If you dont care about flavour and you just want to look "manly" drinking a beer this one is for you although personally i would rather drink my own urine.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
375ml bottle into schooner glass. Light caramel nose. Amber beer with diminished head. A few bubbles. Watery mouthfeel with abrupt sour malt finish. The blurb on the bottle is describing a completely different beer to what I’m drinking, something wrong here. Blurb or beer?

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tasted 9/9/2014 Alice Springs Airport. BB 17 Jun 14. Poured a clear amber with a few millimetres of white bubbles that diminished quickly to nothing. Nil lacing. Carbonation low and coarse. Aroma subtly of sweetish malt and possible citrus; malt intensifies as beer warms. Taste with moderate level of spicy hops and malt sweetness; malt intensifies as beer warms. Light body. Clean, crisp, smooth with lingering low level bitterness.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a small white head and moderate carbonation. Aromas of grass, crackers, noble hops and lemon. The taste however doesn’t live up to the promise of the nose. Some sweet malt and a zesty bite but little else. Aqueous body. A pretty standard lager.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is based on the new premium lager reboot which is 4.5%. For all intent and purposes this is very similar to a crown lager in terms of aroma, flavor and finish. I literally tasted one alongside the other and the differences are fewer than similarities. Aroma is slight spice hops with a hint of grapefruit. Pour is gold amber with mild sweetness and medium finish. No revelation or revolution here I am afraid.
