COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Described as Australia’s best light beer. Moderate to strong bitter taste that disappears soon after swallowing to leave a dry, crisp aftertaste.

Bottled. (hooray for the 10th anniversary of 2Pac!), Thanks to Kaj!. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild cardboard, some malts, slight grassy and hayish hops as well. Flavour is grainy, papery and mildly grassy and hayish. It kind of reminds me of some 2.8 % beers from Sweden, but at the same time it manages to have a bit more body in it.

Semi-solid foamy head, darker yellow body. Detergent and alcohol aroma. Flavour is baker’s chocolate and malt held together by water. As they say in Tasmanian "premium me arse"!

Bottle 33 cL @ Singapore Airline Lounge at Melbourne Airport. Pours clear golden with a shortlived white head. Aroma is malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malty, hay and a bit sweet. Flavor much the same, very thin body and watery, has some bitterness in finnish.

Considering the ABV of this beer, it’s actually ok. Still would stay away from it though

Bottle. Pours a clear straw color with not really any head. Smell is weak straw and something a little offputting. Taste is really not bad and more flavor than I would expect for something so low in alcohol. Straw and malt in the flavor with medium carbonation. Not really good, but not horrible either.

my favourite light beer. It has great appearance and nice amount of aroma for a light beer. Good finish without a watery taste which is always a plus for me when it comes to light beer.

Tap in Torquay. Poured a clear straw with a fairly good meringue head leaving very nice sheety lace. Aroma is DMS, cabbage, red cabbage, sauerkraut. Taste is cabbage, hydrogen peroxide, sauerkraut. Actively offensive. Did not know "light" beer in Oz equates to low alcohol. Definitely got a few laughs out of the crew.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours pale golden, with small white head. Faint hops and malt on the nose and palate, but rather insipid overall, even for a light beer.

375ml bottle, early 2008. I really should have rated this before now! For a low alcohol lager, it is not too bad. The key words in that sentence, however, were "low alcohol pale lager". It’s not great. From memory the predominant flavour is bitter hoppiness. Not the world’s best beer, by a long shot.
