COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cascade Pure is a lighter, crisper, aromatic lager that delivers superior taste. It uses Galaxy hops, which deliver clean passionfruit aromas and flavour characteristics complemented by subtle malty notes. This full strength beer has been specially brewed longer, with nothing artificial to produce a beer that is low in carbohydrates without compromising on taste .

Draught at Cascade Visitor Centre, South Hobart. As part of a tasting paddle after the brewery tour. Sampled on August 8, 2013.
As "Cascade Pure".
Clear straw yellow color, white head. Malty, a bit hoppy, clean taste. Fresh aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty, clean scent.

Pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Very malty in flavour, with little other notable characteristics. One to quench thirst on a hot summer’s day

Good crisp and refreshing low carb session beer. Nothing else to it to keep you interested

Not bad actually. Palate has good weight and some depth of flavour albeit a bit sweet and one dimensional. Some slightly strange fruit tingle flavours in the back palate helps things along.

Surprisingly not too bad. Some guy raves on about this all the time but it’s actually pretty good as far as pale lagers go

Slightly hazy light golden colour. Minimal white head. Wheaty, ricey aroma (as is expected from a mass produced beer). Very thin flavour, had to take a second sip to ascertain I hadnt drunk water. Not too great.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy straw with no head. Aroma was slightly hoppy and sweetish. Light body and carbonation. Flavour was thin and lemony with a slight, but unpleasantly harsh, bitter finish. Not good, but slips down cold.

No head or carbonation at all. Flat and dull and lifeless. Good brewery but bad beer. It looks particularly bad.
