Good crisp and refreshing low carb session beer. Nothing else to it to keep you interested
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Stew41 (1457) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2012
Not bad actually. Palate has good weight and some depth of flavour albeit a bit sweet and one dimensional. Some slightly strange fruit tingle flavours in the back palate helps things along.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 maneliquor (1189) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2011
Surprisingly not too bad. Some guy raves on about this all the time but it’s actually pretty good as far as pale lagers go
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Jade (311) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 6, 2011
Slightly hazy light golden colour. Minimal white head. Wheaty, ricey aroma (as is expected from a mass produced beer). Very thin flavour, had to take a second sip to ascertain I hadnt drunk water. Not too great.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Pyobon (567) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 25, 2011
Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy straw with no head. Aroma was slightly hoppy and sweetish. Light body and carbonation. Flavour was thin and lemony with a slight, but unpleasantly harsh, bitter finish. Not good, but slips down cold.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 madquacker (867) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - FEB 26, 2011
No head or carbonation at all. Flat and dull and lifeless. Good brewery but bad beer. It looks particularly bad.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 ALLOVATE (1708) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - JAN 20, 2011
Mad charging carbonation heaves up two fifths of SFA of head. A little white clouds the crown of a bright, sunny gold body. Grassy, sour nose, light malt, very subdued and ordinary. Light bodied and bouncy, quite racy in carbonation. It lacks malt, cardboardy notes replace, some zest of lemon and grass on the swallow, very feint, distant pineapple note. Galaxy hops, where!? Must have been a small addition or a freakin long boil time! Crisp, mild grassy length, not long. And that’s it really, sad to say I haven’t more to say. This is...., well, just average again which makes it less of a beer than its bland predecessors. Great they went carbon neutral, but it didn’t mean they needed to go flavour neutral!
