Unclear medium amber brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry sour, cherry, wine, wood - oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark red with a with a small pink head. Aroma cherry and mild acetone to acidic. Acetone, light almondish and critric cherry flavoured. Light dry wooden note and vague sulphorish touch. Dry acidic cherry flavoured lingering finish.

Bottled. An unclear red-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of berries, wine, wood, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sour with notes of sour berries, malt, caramel, wood, and brettanomyces, leading to a lightly sour finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Fruity and light acidic aroma of berries, cherries and cherry stones.
Light acidic flavour of berries and varnyard.
Tart berryish finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty sour tart woody aroma with hints of wine. Fruity sour tart woody red wine flavor. Has a very sour tart woody wine finish.

THE Fruit Sour tasting. Thanks Paul for this 2009 bottle. Cloudy dark purple beer, small tan head. Palate is light and dry. Sourish Duchesse Du Bourgogne type vinegary fruits. Very sour Dr Pepper type fruits. Finishes dry with a fruity aftertaste.

2010 version on draft at the barrel house. Reddish brown color. Aroma of sour dark fruit. Taste starts sour and ends slightly bitter. Reminiscent of Rodenbach Alexander.

Bottle at The Fruit Sour Tasting, London - big thanks to Paul for this guy. Pours muddy, ruby-brown with a fine, tan foam head. Rich, sweet, ripe berry aroma, with vinegar and wet wood. Light to medium sweet flavor with bracing sourness and sturdy, bitter grape skins, wood, mild jammy fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Big tart finish, light sugars, pectin, berries, vinegar, light warmth. Good overall sourness. Quite acetic. Solid beer.

Bottle at Grand Tasting, RBSCSG 2015 in Gothenburg. Hazy dark amber/brown beer with a decent beige head. Sourish grapefruit and vinegar aroma, funky, raisins, vinous, raisins, caramel, some cherries. Sourish vinous flavor, vinegar, grapefruit, sour cherries, some figs. Quite nice.
