COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This spring IPA is a hop showcase. Floral and citrus aromas from the Amarillo, then tropical lemon and lime notes from the Motueka combine with the herbal and lemony Sorachi- Ace hops to get you in the mood. A bright hop spice bite on the palate from the Brewers gold and Amarillo blends with biscuity malts, leading to a sublime, multifaceted refreshing IPA that is built to awe, not shock

On draught at Raccoon Lodge. Floral aroma with a hint of grass. Has a hoppy citrus sweetness with a touch of spice. Minimal bitterness.

hazy lemon, heavy lacing in thin bubbled white head. Light grass and vomit, faint dirty wheat but oppressive off notes. Fizzy carbonation limits profile, strained and dry grass with tons of bitter grain at front, light airy sweetness mid before dry grass an gum end, bitterness lingering with faint diacetyl after warmth

On tap at the Brave Horse Tavern in Seattle. Pours a medium amber, decent head retention. There’s a definite lemony aroma that is mixed with grapefruit and somewhat of an unripe blackberry. Flavor is of an indistinct citrus, medium caramel malt sweetness, and bitter citrus peel. Finishes with a bit of a lasting carryover of bitterness; maybe not a good thing in this case. Bitterness feels very one-dimensional and carries a bit too long. An above average IPA in a world of above-average IPAs.

On tap at Cascade, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very subtle, with floral hops, a bit of dental clinic odour, and some mustiness. Flavour brings out dry floral hops, earthiness, and a metallic tinge. Very weak and muted, with some off-flavours. Not very good.

On tap at the brewpub. A new entry. A clear copper color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity nose with some of that Amarillo sticky liquor. Big lemon flavor from the Sorachi, a bit of bitterness, some orange peel, earthy mellow malt base. Easygoing and flavorful. Nice.
