This easy drinking spiced wheat beer is yet another one-off from the brewers and was made with Mokeuka Hops then finished with Spanish lemon peel in both kettle and the brite tank. Bright citrus and soft wheat aromas are noticed up front. Smooth malts and notes of lemon zest cascade over the palate and lead to a light refreshing finish that lingers.

On tap at Cascade, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of fresh wheat, very dry overall – not much besides the wheat. Flavour is very dry and wheat, with a hint of spice and fresh crusty bread. Fairly flavourful and certainly easy drinking. But what can you really do with this style. Good stuff for what it is.

On tap at racoon lodge. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. The aroma was big fruity hops and lemon peel. An earthy and dry flavor with more lemon, citrus, smooth bready base malts. Very nice.

Draft at sb. Pours a hazy dark gold with bright pale amber highlights. Dense creamy white head. Light stringy lace. Grwat nose, beautiful combination of acetobacter tang and fresh bread crusts. Smells instantly refreshing. Creamy medium body with very lively carb. Great faintly lemony wheat tang combined with fresh baked brown bread crusts on the mid palatw. Nice mild finish. It’s enough to make you not completely hate the style.
