COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Tap at the Barrel House. Pours hazy copper with a white head. Strawberry aroma. Moderate sour flavor with the cleanest strawberry I’ve had. Tart/sour all the way with ongoing fruit. Delicious. Winey in a way. Excellent.

Bottle... Hazy orange ale with small, short-lived, white head. Strawberries are front and center in the nose - the unmistakable olfactory highlight of this beer. Light to medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. Fruity, sweet-sour flavor and finish. Well-balanced. I was hoping for more acidity, but this is very nice nonetheless. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

White foam for a second (maybe the glass? bottle sports 1.5 cm of head internally); then uniform - if end of bottle more cloudy - bit tired looking, "Indian red" coloured beer. Sourish-fruity aroma, red fruit (I’d rather guessed redcurrant or even Northern Cherry, than strawberry). Very sour and quite fruity. Again mainly red fruit; fruitacids and lactic; flavour as from rhubarb. Very refreshing, light body, apparently fully attenuated. Nice, authentic fruitflavour, but further rather light MF - not empty, but lacking a tad of complexity. Many thanks for bringing, Don Sssss!

Orange pour with ever so light pink touches and an off white head. Aroma of berries--strawberries, raspberries, lactic tartness and a light hint of a new garden hose. Flavor is sour and juicy, strawberries, yogurt sourness and again that hint of rubber. A nice beer, but not their best effort.

Cloudy orange colored pour with a hint of pink and a tall white head. A very nice berry tartness and aroma. A fair amount of strawberry, some grass, and a lot of lemon. Some slight sweetness, too. There’s a definite fruit sweetness to the flavor. A lot of lactic sourness, some underripe berry notes, and a lot of citrus zest. Some grassy funk, a touch of oak, and a dry finish.
