COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Godsdamn, goddamn, holy fuck yes. Just do yourself a favor and go find yourself a bottle and pay whatever they’re asking. Or fly or drive to Portland to get a fresh batch on tap at the Barrel House. This one’s a winner!

2012 bottle. It pours a bright bright orange color with a bubbly head. A crisp candied strawberry nose. A starting sour off the bat that blends into a very pure strawberry flavor. One of the most distinct strawberry flavors I’ve had in a beer. A nice sweet fruit flavor first then starts to get tart as it goes down. A nice dry finish. File it under solid once again for Cascade.

So a few days ago I got lucky to have Peche ’N’Brett and so now I go on a summer sour binge. OK Sour ’tis not. Funky yeast/dough cider nose? Not really meeting expectations Pink Infused white head Copper color. Had an Almanic last summer that hit the spot with strawberries Paid a good dollar for this bottle but alas

750ml shared. pours a mild reddish color with no head. aroma is lots of strawberry and mild funk. the flavor is a solid strawberry and funk. the warmer it gets the more the funk comes out but you still get plenty of strawberry...overall solid start to finish.
