Sampled at ESBLS. Yellowish and very hazy. This is funky and very tart with all kinds of fruit. I get melons, lemons, and white grapes. Barrel funkiness along with the bacteria. Quite nice and very drinkable.

750ml bottle. Pours golden orange with minimal head. Strong grape and funk aroma. Taste some vinegar sour with dry finish. Pretty good stuff.

Nice light amber pour. Aroma is of very strong sour grapes. Flavor matches aroma, very well balanced. Iíve tried both the 2012 and 2013 and both are very similar (although vary a bit in ABV)

750ml bottle. Clear orange yellow in colour with lots of bubbles. The aroma is incredibly sour, lots of white grapes. Flavour is tart, lots of white wine, woody, citrus. Finishes long, tart, woody. This is really good, love the wine barrel beers. So tart, acidic.

75cl bottle shared. Hazy gold, thin white head. Lovely white grape and spice nose, lemon rind, peach, pear, light funk. Juicy grapes and peach in the taste, more tropical stuff, soured citric notes, something grassy, light spices and some herbiness. Sours out some more at the end, citrus takes lead. Juicy finish of grapes, keeps it from getting harsh or brutal sour. Great balance. Drinks far weaker than ABV. Very good

Opaque goldenrod hue. Lovely, fragrant nose of chamomile, pear, and lavender; white wine or rice vinegar acidity, layered and gentle. Similarly, the flavor is careful and quiet, though confident; golden delicious apple, straw, pear, and white grape are its brightest components. Excellently balanced acidity and crisp, fulsome texture. Finish lingers with punchy, deep fruit acids.

Smells like sour grapes. Tastes like mold and baby diapers and deliciousness. Mouthfeel is good - I like it. And now Iím too far tipsy to rate. Letís switch to HFS saisons that I technically havenít rated but have had a ton of...

This one is a mix of grape juice flavor, to go along with plenty of sour flavors. Definitely came off as weird, but it came off as tasty too. Who would have guess that combo would work? Go figureÖ

"Long time wish list brew. Not a favorite as far as Cascade is concerned, but thatís really not a knock. Cascade makes some of the best sours out there. This one is really good, just not among their best. Pretty nice marriage between sour blonde ale and wine. Seems like sauvignon grape (juice) and some bretty funky goodness. Pretty strong at 9.7% but the alcohol is barely noticeable. I could see white wine drinkers really liking this one. I prefer reds, but this was still really nice. Fairly strong sour/tartness going on on the palate."

Serving: 750 ml. bottle. Bright amber pour with a thin white head that quickly fades. The nose quickly caught me off guard. Grape Hubba Bubba bubblegum? Super tart up front, but the tartness fades to reveal a fresh, concord grape sweetness. I didnít get much direct flavor from the wood per se, but there is a slightly astringent finish. Nice mix of flavors.
