750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukeduke! Pours cloudy toasted orange with medium head. Nose is tart fruity citrus, grains, grape, boozy wine, dusty funk. Taste has a mix of bready belgian yeast spice and funky tart stonefruit, wine, and citrus, finishes with some boozy bready yeast, wine, grape juice.

Pours a medium golden color with a finger of fizzy white foam. Nose a nice mixture of tart grape, honey malt and oak nuances. Palate follows with nice rustic grain, wet wood and honey kissed tart vinous notes. Mouthfeel is round upfront and lightens nicely with the tart acidity level on the finish.

Blonde with a touch of haze. Aroma is vinous, touch of ice wine , vinous, with a touch of acidity but a fair bit of sugar, pears, apricot...really nice, that ice wine sweetness is really nice.

750 mL bottle from Bruisin’ Ales, Asheville, NC (2013 bottle at 9.3% ABV). Yellowish-orange pour with a fizzy, quickly diminishing white head. White wine grapes are easily detected in the aroma with oak and sour notes making their way through. Taste is extremely sour with green apple, lemon, and sour grape most notable. The finish does not have a lingering sour effect. This is another great sour from Cascade.

At cascade brewpub with Taylor, Stephen, and Dina. Pours light orange with almost no head. Aroma is straight grape juice. Taste is straight wenches grape juice. You could literally give this to a 10 year old with their pbj for lunch and they would no know the difference except for color. Sparking well he’s cider. Alcohol is completely hidden, I would think this is non alcoholic if I didn’t know better.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours pale golden yellow with a white head. The aroma has rich berries, lots of grape, rich cotton candy, black currents and raspberries. It has a medium rich body with soft carbonation. The flavor begins with lots of white grape, chardonnay, mild oak, full maltiness and fairly rich. The finish has some alcohol, lots of white grape and white wine character. Interesting and enjoyable.

2012 project, bottle. Pours a clear copper color with almost no head on it whatsoever. Nose is definitely sour, with grape and oak elements really being salient. Taste actually isn’t too sour, and has a nice fruity bite to it, like a dry champagne. Really interesting.
