Sample at the Barrel House. Slighly hazed honey-gold color with a thin white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Vinous aroma with notes of apples and oak. Medium body with flavors of tart funky fruit, oak and earthy yeast. The finish is fruity with a spice and white wine aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

I get and love everything Cascade does, the wine grapes only add another dimension to the perfect blends. Sweet tart sour oaky grapy goodness. I am addicted!

750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks Tmoney99). Looks good; a slightly hazy gold with white lacing. Smells solid; a nice white wine presence with some yeast notes too. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel and a pleasantly dry mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Bottle acquired via trade with Homer321...thanks Sean! Golden tangerine pour with a small eggshell cap that dissipates quickly. Really funky, assertive aroma of grapefruit pith, barnyard, wet grass, oak, Chardonnay, and lemon zest. Similar flavors with tart unripened fruit, some vinegar notes, and lactic qualities. Highly drinkable for 10%...dangerous in that regard. Delicious!

A - Slightly hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. Fades normal.
S - Tart grapes, funky Brett and other yeasts, oak, vanilla, lactic acid, lemon and other citrus zests, barnyard funk.
T - Sweet grainy malts, tart grapes and other stone fruits, oak, vanilla, funky Brett and other sour yeasts, lactic acid, lemon and other citrus zests, barnyard funk.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a tart, funky, and dry finish.
D - Great sour beer. Great smoothness and overall balance.

Draft at 16 Tons Cafe, Eugene. Vintage 2011. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color. Grapes are huge in nose. Body is very lively, nice tartness, warming well-hidden, finishes very dry and subtle. Cascade knows barrels.

Murky and pale gold. Kick ass funk aromas. Very drinkable for being nearly 10%. Light refreshing tart with slight funk and a hint of white grapes.

Pours clear orange amber with a small, creamy beige film head. Aroma has oranges, apricot, apples, tartness, soft metallic. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light mouthfeel - especially considering the ABV. Flavour is tart, citrussy, light malty sweet and lots of apple zest. Sticks to my teeth. Sweetish finish with some plum notes. Nice.

Sample pour. Hazed orange juice color. Nose smells of orange juice, funk, tartness and sour, citrus and loads of lemon and more orange. Flavor is similar, not super sour, which I like. Plenty of lemon juice in this one and light grapefruit tartness. Really drinkable for a sour, not too heavy or sharp. Nicely done!!

750 mL bottle. Pours a golden orange with a short-lived froth of off-white foam. Aroma is heavy on white wine grapes, maybe chardonnay. Flavor is similar, lots of white wine with orange accents and a solid tart edge throughout.
