2011 Bottle generously shared by zdk @ Spuyten Duyvil for Zwanze Day 2012. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a bright white head. The aroma is topped off by the crispness of white grapes and supported by lactic sourness. On the palate, the tartness is somewhat subdued compared to the lambic that we had been drinking but the finish is drier as well. The barrel comes through on the palate in a really elegant way. Very well crafted stuff.

Pours a bright golden yellow with fizzy head. Aromas of citrus peel, yeast, hay, and some funk. Flavors of sour grapes, some woody notes, and some funky yeast.

@ Cascade 16-3-9: kanske lite intetsägande med en halvsöt svag fatton. Ok men inget mer.

2012 bottle tasting. Not what I was hoping for. Has aroma and flavors of those round candy buttons you have to bite
off the shiny paper when you were a kid and didn’t even know how bad of a candy it is. There’s obviously some white wine stuff going on here but it’s ruined.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear dark golden in color... Aroma of Belgian biscuit malts, candi sugar, white wine grapes, oak, citrus... Flavor is fruity and citrusy up front, gives way to vinous undertones, light white wine on palate... Enjoyable

The Vine ’13, on draft at the barrel house in Aug 2014 with Erica and Matt. Light gold pour with very washy lacing on the glass. There is a wheaty aroma and it’s there on the palate as well. Yeasty sourness to it, not tart or acidic really. I described it as a solid "hefe-like" (?) sour.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft pour at Tap And Handle. Clear bronze appearance with a small white head. Aroma of acidity, fruity esters, light candy sugar, caramel malt, toffee, light oak, vanilla and banana bread. Similar flavor, mildly sour with a light herbal bitterness. Medium to full body with soft carbonation, a smooth creamy feel and a light puckering finish. Complex and fun to drink.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a quickly vanishing head. Nose is a weird combination of malt and... Red Bull (I kid you not). Some peach as well. Medium body, quite sweet and a bit sour, and some tannins - interesting. Unagreeable and unnatural red bull flavours coming back. Mèh.
