COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Northwest Style Sour Ale is a blend of soured Triple, Blonde Quad and Golden ales that have been refermented with the fresh pressed juice of white wine grapes. The beer spent more than six months of lactic fermentation and aging in small oak barrels. 9.2% ABV

No date, but I bought the bottle from the barrel room in 2010. Smells a bit like lemon rind with a bit of funk that’s mildly horseblankety. Taste is more tart lemon and yogurt but there is a weird briney thing going on also. Maybe a bit of white grape juice also, but much less than I remember it being fresh. Reminds me of a a beefed-up tricked-out Berliner weiss.

Draught @ Borefts, Bodegraven. Cloudy golden, white foamy head. Funky, tard, vinegar, white grapes, muscat, honey. Big body, lively carbonation.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016 day 1. Light hazy golden, white head. Sweet grains, sour grapes and grapestones, chalk, wood. Medium sour. Under medium body, average carbonation. Fruity sour finish.

Tap at Borefts. Almost clear golden with white head. Apricot, soft lactic, sweet malts, white wine, oak. Light sweet and sour. Medium odied with slick feel and low carbonation.

On Tap at Bier:Thirty, Boise. Slightly hazy golden peach color. Thin white head and lacing, Soft grape and mellow malts with some slightly tart flavors as well. A little of the wine/Chardonnay character, very light on the sour. Just OK

2012 bottle tasting. Not what I was hoping for. Has aroma and flavors of those round candy buttons you have to bite off the shiny paper when you were a kid and didn’t even know how bad of a candy it is. There’s obviously some white wine stuff going on here but it’s ruined.
