Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - leather, moderate hyeasty, leather - nutty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Bottle from Tutta Birra Milan. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Nice fruity notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Nutty, fruity notes and muscat very present. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy like velvet palate. Nice.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a medium white head and some lacing. Rich aroma and taste of sweet malts, yeast and caramal. Nice beer.

My Bottom Line:
Straightforward bready yeast, orangey fruitiness and timid caramel sweetness round up this layman’s Belgian-style Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slowly diminishing head of foam decorates the cloudy pale amber.
-The prickly effervescence and lean mouthfeel render high drinkability.
-The lightly toasted and caramel malts lack substance.
-This has to be one of the first batches they ever brew, so obviously it is going to improve, but for now the most attractive part of this average ale is that it is actually brewed by monks.
