COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew our award-winning Pilsner true to style, importing the yeast and hops directly from Germany. The result; a light, crisp and clean tasting beer that is golden in color and sports the classic white foam head. This versatile beer refreshes all year-round.

Light color, but atypically dark for a pilsner, which sometimes border on water-clear. Lightly fruity aroma. Overzealous foamy head tries to eat your face, even on a careful pour. Taste is overly metallic and sour. Pilsners are bitter as a rule, but this is a little too puckeringly bitter for a style that is supposed to be so light. Better than macro-swill, but not as elegant as premium pilsner.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2006 I am not a pilsner fan in general. This beer came as part of my beer club but it took me a while to get around to trying it. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a very small white head. There was a light malt aroma and a nice flowery hop scent. There was a bitterness on the finish. The flavor was sour and surprisingly hoppy with noted flowery and mild grapefruit notes. The finish is bitter and hoppy. A rather nice pilsner overall.

Not too bad, a good crisp flavor. A lot of generic malt flavor that is a little much for my tastes, but not too offensive. I'd drink it again if I had to.

Bottled. I'm not a pilsener fan so they are never going to get a high rating. Thisn one fit the bill just right. Clean and refreshing beer.

Golden colour. Slightly fruity (lime, mandarin) and this is probably from the Simcoe hops. Spritzy. Bready malt notes and crisp, moderate bitterness (~25 IBUs). Dry finish. Light body. A north German pils with PNW hops.

Very light with almost no head; looks thin. Minimal, slightly sour/bitter nose; flavor more malty than hoppy (this is a Pils?), very smooth; smoothness also present in the finish. Very light fruitiness throughout; thirst-quenching and drinkable but not much of a Pils if you ask me.

An extremely malty pilsener that doesn’t have much aroma. Dry and crisp. Rather bitter in the German pilsener style.

Bottle. Medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting, decent lacing, carbonated, slightly hazy, and a yellow hue. Malty, hoppy and a sweaty sock aroma. Not very inticing. Bitter and hoppy flavor. Tingly, bitter, hoppy palate. Light-medium body.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of frothy of unnoted size long lasting white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was hazy and yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild dirty sock off smelling . Its mouth feel is initially tingly bubbly and off with a strange malty dirty sock finish. Its flavor contained malty dirty sock notes. Not one I would buy again.
