Very good - tastes like a pale. Nice crisp bite in the flavor and finish. Very refreshing. I could drink this anytime!

Found this one at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield, OH. My experiences with ’Summer Ales’ have been a little sketchy but this one wasn’t bad at all. Flat copper color with a medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma is all hops. Mildly bitter hops flavor with a little malt to keep it in check. I honestly think they should offer this one year ’round.

Golden color, frothy white head. Getting some peach/melon notes in the nose and the taste. Bitter finish that lingers. Easy drinkin’ brew.

Great APA. Nice Cascade aroma & good hop presence in the flavor. Nice malt balance also. This is my idea of a good summer ale!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2002
deep golden, medium head, great lacing. Citrusy/coppery hop flavor, was kind of off-putting at first, but really grew on me. This is a nice thick full flavored alternative to your weaker Lawn-mowin’ Lager!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUN 18, 2002
Hazy golden hue with a very white, foamy but fast-dying head. Pleasant but weak grainy nose. Flavor seems nothing special at first; some caramel malt, a bit of fruit, some hops, and its got more bite at the end than I expected; but this is really quite refreshing and one of the better ’summer’ session beers out there. Good body.

Pours a beutiful orange color with very little head. Nice clean aroma, smooth taste, quite a refreshing and good summertime ale. P.S. If you ever drive through Portland Maine, you must stop by the Brewery, they are really great people!!

A good APA. Nice hop flavor if a bit understated. Full malty taste - mildly fruity like most English-inspired New England brews. Nice backing bitterness. Golden color and medium head.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 27, 2001
Crisp and clean with a nicely done (not overdone) citric hoppiness. Pours with a nice head that stays and stays. Label says ’Open, Drink, Repeat - You can always mow the lawn tomorrow.’. ’Nuff said.
