COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Saison is as old-world as it gets. We use 100% Colorado ingredients: Colorado water, malted and raw barley and wheat, Crystal hops and a yeast blend of saison yeast, brettanomyces and lactobacillus. We ferment the beer in custom-made open oak barrel fermenters. After this rustic primary fermentation, the beer goes to other barrels for further aging and flavor development. The result is a citrusy, dry, tart and effervescent beer worthy of sharing.

Damn this is the real deal. Lacto driven primarily but a real nice saison base. Floral aromas, Balanced acidity, soft lightly tart finish. A touch wet. My interest is piqued. Wow.

Bottle 750ml. [Blind Tasted] Pours hazy blond with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of old yeast, old musty rags, fruits, schoune-like. Taste is of acidity, fruits, weird yeast action. Palate: Light body. Medium-high carbonation. Refreshing. Overall: Nice, good acidity. While I salute the work behind the fermentation of this stuff, this is not 100% to my liking. Somewhat messy (but certainly enjoyable).

Bottle (750 ml). From Phil, thanks!

Appearance: Slightly hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Super lemony and yeasty with grains, citrus and a bit of oak.

Taste: Quite tart and lemony with grains, light sweetness, brettanomyces, oak and herbal notes.

Palate: Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderately dry and a bit oak finish. Lemony.

Overall: Tasty tart and lemony Saison. Drinkable and quenching. There’s a ton of sour Saison on the market nowadays, but this one finds a way to be quite unique. Enjoyable.

Wet slippery mf with lo wish carb and a nice medium full palate. Nice balance of sweet, yeasty, bretty and tart.the taste is the same as the nose. Citrusy, yeasty, musty, funky, sweet and lemon tarty. A nice drinkin saisons or sure.
