drewlovesbeer (3), USA does not count Apr 18, 2008 Gets you drunk cheaply and that’s it. The taste is below ave. The flavor, eh, kinda of like Busch in the States Sully (1362), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Feb 20, 2008 What a delight to say I now have tried all the Crass, er Cass beers on the database. While I was about to start on the usual diatribe of how bloody objectionable these macro Asians are the reality check is that my own country also has rubbish too. We don’t get to see the gems unless we are in the actual country and have time to scout around. Given that I am in Kuala Lumpur and the only reason why I can get to drink South Korean beers is becuase nearby apartments are significantly represented by these countrymen, I of course can only have access to these beerlightful examples of Asian swill. This beer is an example of the very disturbing trend of a lot of brewers in the region to produce high ABV beers with dreadful malty, fusel alcohol ridden flat as a tack roughies. Yeah, its a bit redder than the others but this could just be kimche juice and not malt. The former is surely cheaper. screwball (703), Motala, Sweden Nov 8, 2007 Can. (Thanks to Toni P)
Amber-orange body. No head at all. Aroma is hard to find but there is some malty sweet touch to it. Some burt sugar as well. Flavor brings peppry alcohol and malt. Also some burnt sugar. tomciccateri (467), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Sep 2, 2007 From a can date-stamped three months earlier, pours a clear gold with amber hues. Head disappears fast, leaving continuous stream of bubles that bring forth a perfumy aroma. Medium body, malty-sweet flavor with excessive alcohol character dominating. Seems typical of the current scourge of "strong" beers inflicting the marketplace. Geth_in_beer (677), Nova Scotia, Canada Apr 18, 2007 From bottle. Very poor lager. I don’t know why it is called red because it was the same colour as all the others with a worse head. All I got was a strong chemical taste. By far the worst I tried in South Korea. Probably best using it for a stain remover.
