an orange colour. smell is cereals, fruit-sugar smell. taste is pretty sweet, unpleasant yeast derived bits, tastes like crap ingredients were put in, output is a little like rotten fruit and beer. alcohol is slightly apparent. palate is slick and heavy. this beer is the only malt liquor made in south korea and just the fact that it has more alcohol and it clearly is what it is supposed to be. i like it better than other korean garbage beer.

Unfortunately this is one of the better easily available beers in South Korea.

330ml can (Convenience store, Suwon) - Online Shitty Beer Night!
3 Kinda fuselly boozy thing going on, quite heady. Something sweetish too. Weíre clearly in ESL/ML-land.
2 Red, my arse. Itís just a slightly more golden yellow than normal. Alas the glass isnít 100% clean, or has a flaw, as thereís a constant stream of bubbles from the bottom, which gives it a self-supporting tight head. Still, I donít like the "boiling" at the surface, so am not going to give this a 3.
3 At first, a completely bog-standard ESL sweet-caramel hit. But thereís something odd about this (nearly typed "off") - thereís tons of almonds in the retronasals. Ew, but they turn into something horrible on swallowing. Sweet andsour stir fry.
2 Smooth and sweet. Not as cold as it could be, so smoother than it might normally be, but also less crisp, and less drinkable. Finish is high octane - sweet and boozy. Makes you shake your head and make blubl noises.
6 Right down the middle for these guys (prior ones were 1.2 to 2.0). Thank god it doesnít have the carbonic acid of their really pissy lagers, but the fusels theyíre replaced that with are no improvement. Not going to be easy to finish the glass...

Can, pored with ample, short lived head into pilsner glass. Color is not even close to red, more like a standard Korean lager yellow with a drop of red food coloring. Aroma is corn and alcohol. Malt sweetness, grass, and alcohol notes sum up the flavor for me. The carbonation level is actually a little painful for the first few sips, then back to average half way down. This would have been a fine beverage if high ABV was an important part of my beer choice, which it wasn?t. Flavor and mouthfeel level leave something to be desired, but it was no disappointment as my expectations were not too high.

(can) Clear golden with decent, but very short-lived, white head. Subtle pleasant aroma, slightly fruity with vague hint of grassy hops. Light body, although less so than most mainstream Korean beers, with moderate carbonation, but not actually very pleasant. The first tastes are quite promising with clear presence of malt with some balancing fruitiness. However the finish is not so pleasant and lingers a long time masking the original pleasant tastes. Those harsh finish flavours are a combination of alcohol and a metallic bitterness, with some peppery spice. Overall itís a mixed bag. on the positive side it is different, is not bland and has character, on the negative side that character is rather coarse and artificial.

0.355l can. Yeah, this one pours a crystal clear dark golden body with a medium sized but qui.. DAMMIT! My pot just boiled over! OK, yeah, a quickly fading in to completely nothing white head. The aroma has tones of something fruity, sweet grains, cactus and a little hint of alcohol. All in all really subtle. It tastes like a juiced up lager. Mild pale-malty flavors with a near watery texture. It has a average carbonation level and thatís pretty much it. Boring? Well itís a Korean Malt Liquor so Iím really not in a position to say thatís it boring, but flavor vise itís quite dull an un-exciting indeed. 27.04.2012

Sweetish caramel nose with a hint of dusty yeast. Taste is lightly sweet, some chewy toffee malt, very light hops, some aspirin.

Thanks to SHIG. Smells like corn, and chardonnay. Tastes like hell. Malt liquor for the oppressors. Viva la revolution!

5oo ml can in Sulymanyah, Iraq. Pours a orange color with a very short and fast to go white head. Aroma is sour bubblegum, alcohol and malt. Taste is some sharp chemicals and malt with alcohol. Palate is somewhat offensive but this hangs in the just drinkable range.
