No thanks to egajdzis for this one. Poured a deep orange color with a small sized off white head. Some floaters. Aromas of strong cork, rotten vegetables, and if I stretch it, some underlying fruitiness. I couldn’t get around that damn off aroma. Tastes of the same crap with sour apples. Thin and flat body. I see other raters mention off aromas and tastes, so I don’t have a problem putting this one in. Drain pour. Cool box and label though.

Thanks to egajdzis. Pours a hazy orange amber with a very small light tan head that did not sustain. Aroma of cork, grapes and sour apple. Flavor was more of the cork, grapes and apple. Something was off in both flavor and aroma. Very watery with no carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber color with a bit of sediment suspended in the liquid. Pleasant sized light beige head forms and fades moderately to leave a slight layer over the beer and a ring at the edge. Attractive lacing is left behind. Aroma is pleasantly fruity and malty. Plum, raisins and fig come to mind, a bit of the Saaz hop shows as well with an earthy/spicey presence. Medium bodied at best with a moderate carbonation level. Tends to finish a bit watery which is a letdown. Flavors are a toned down version of what was noticed in aroma with plenty of dark fruit. Fair hop presence which is interesting in the finish. Decently done, although not outstanding.

Bottle poured a caramel brown with no head or lacing at all.
Big alcohol aroma with over ripe fruits.
Flavor is sweet malt and spice, caramel with a tart viniger finish.
Thib beer was very watery and looked like standing colored water.
Cool label though.

My beer spotter seen this one at Plaza Liquers on recent trip to Tucson, Az. Art work on the beer lable may be the best thing about it. Fermented aroma, some cherry and some alcohol. Caramel color body and according to decricption I should of had a decent head. No head to beer. Flavor was lackluster waterdown brew that was totaly different from dicription also. Flavor also reminded me of drinking a rhine wine and had a stale fruit aftertaste. Maybe I got a bad botttle or this is overpriced at 12.40 for a 750 ml bottle.

Hazy bronze. Insignificant off white head hisses as it quickly disappears. Malt, dark dried fruit, vineous, alcohol- aroma. Same flavor with some yeast and sweetness and roastiness, subtle caramel also. Full body, would benefit from a little more carbonation. Good beer.

Nice dark brown pour with heavy frothy head when poured. Malty, fruity aroma. A nice bodied, sweet beer. All the Casta beers are great beers from Mexico - the best there.
