Bottled. Pale golden coloured. Light aroma. Weak and sweet flavour with unclean notes. Watery.

Poura a clear golden color, topped with decent white head that completely disappears in a moment. There is a very mild malty aroma and slight dust. Not much there. The taste is sweet, light and slightly cardboardy, but it has some nicely bitter finish and sweet aftertaste.

Clear yellow with white lacing, lasting foam head. Somewhat high carbonated. Aroma is barley, tastes as a decent mass produced lager. Somewhat sweet aftertaste. Glad I found this though. (Paris 201402)

Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hay and straw. Sweet malty flavour, corn. Finish corn, light hops, quite sweet. Another country, another tick.

Sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Thanks to tderoeck! Pours light yellow with almost no head. The smell is sweet malt, grain, corn. The taste is similar to nose with some bitterness on the end. Light in body with lead than average carbonation.

65cl bottle @ RBBWG III, thanks Tderoeck. BB 05/2014. Dorée, col blanc moyen. Bière sèche avec pas mal de pétillant, note de maïs, pâle et ce fini métallique typique. Retrouve très peu de caractère au niveau des houblons. Ok, mais franchement rien de spécial.

65 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to tderoeck. BBF 05/2014 – I believe it was. Pale apple juice with white bubbles for a head. Nose is oddly very sweet, sweet apples, aspartame-type sweeteners & cheap aspirin. Taste is bitter grains, something musty, wet hay, aspartame-type sweeteners, expired aspirin,… Fizzy. Tempted to call this bad by even African beer standards. “The Queen of Beers”? Oh, lord.

Very clear, golden body with quickly dissipating head. Super mild aroma, not every very grainy, just some cereal sugars. Taste is equally bland. Even more so than I expected. Not only bad though but perhaps a bit too sweet to be refreshing; or too little carbonation. I think I’d want something more bitter and clean when I would be in teh Camaroon heat. Oh who am I kidding, I got it from an African store here in France... ;)
