3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a nice golden amber with a thick white head. Fruit and citrus on the nose. Light bodied. Banana, citrus fruits, and yeast on the tongue, along with a mild hint of hops. Dry hop finish. Not the best in its style, but it was still a refreshing beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not very good. Pours a lovely golden color. Nose is really more like a lager than ale. Flavours reflect this (Heineken) but retain a slight barnyardness. Leather, and hay with lager yeast and tetternangs

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Did not care for this. Pale yellow body with brief white head. Musty, earthy aroma. Light bodied. Flavor had some sweetness but was otherwise just unpleasant. Bad.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2004 Bright golden body and undulating, soft, snow white head. Aroma of yeasty esters, citrus and a hint of butterscotch. Honey flavor and sweetness, Czech hop bitterness, and some orange citrus tang. Medium body and syrupy palate. Nothing special.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer had a large sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body had a lot of lively/fizzy carbonation and it was transparent with a golden hue. The nose was lightly malty, sweet and fruity. The taste was sweet, somewhat malty, tart and somewhat flat with an aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth, watery, thin and dry. This was a light bodied beer with sparse lacing. This was a drinkable beer and after a few sips I could feel some alcohol effects.

The salesman at our local Cap n'Cork liquor store did not want to sell me this bottle. He kept on saying that it was bad, but could offer no explanation as to why he felt it was bad. I bought it anyway after a long discussion with him in which he finally decided that I knew more about beer than he did. The cork came out with a loud pop! This bottled brew poured an extremely large head of foamy finely sized white colored long lasting bubbles with some yeast floating on them. The receeding head left behind a transparent yellow colored body with a lot of yeasty floating in it and a poor lacing. It had a very mild aroma with floral notes and a mouthfeel that was thick and malty yet smooth from start to finish. The flavor contains notes of thick malt, sweet malt, mild coriander and straw. The alcohol content is well hidden yet can be felt after a few drinks. There is definately nothing wrong with this bottle. It is definately not bad. I think the beer salesman saw the floating yeast and assumed that it was bad because there was stuff floating in it. Guess I did know more than he did.
