Bottle. Clear blond pour with a one finger white head and nice-looking bubble action. Pilsner malts, honey, and grassy/floral hops on the aroma. The flavor is somewhat standard for the style, but well-done nonetheless. Slightly sweet honeyish malt base and mild hop bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with medium body for the style. Drinkable. A nice tick.

Pours a totally clear blond with sparse head. Aroma is apple, pear, fresh baked bread, honey, pils malt, caramel, banana. Taste is same as aroma. Body is medium, low to medium carbonation, long bready finish. Overall, underwhelming but interesting. You probably need to pair this one with some carefully chosen food to bring out its full character.

F me! Two beers tonight that sucked. I have never had a cell phone but I am going to have to get one because I can’t keep going to these exotic beer stores and taking chances on interesting LOOKING beers. That Suck!!! The best way to describe this beer is European Corona. Bleh! Side note..... their St. Armand is delicious.

750ml corked bottle pours blonde in color with a huge white head that retains well and leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light malts with some fruits, yeast and light hops. Taste is fruity with a light malt sweetness and mild hop bitterness with some yeast. Very spritzy carbonation and modest body provides and nice sensation on the palate. A very appealing brew that is highly recommended.

Bottled Jan. 23 2009. Crystal clear deep golden, almost no head. The nose is very floral, green grapes, chardonnay, peaches. Light to medium bodied, nice sweet malt base, lots of apple cider and pear flavors, musty and earthy, and a grassy and slightly dry finish that tastes of dusty hops. Nicely balanced, nicely aged, very sophisticated.

A murky orange color with a diminishing beige head. The aroma contains some citrus, bread, and floral notes. The flavor is a bit dry with some citrus, earthy notes, and a hint of caramel. Not as sweet as many I’ve had from this style. Overall more like a simple Belgian than anything but not bad.

Pours rusty amber. Nose is sweet and floral. Rich floral flavor with spice and malty notes and slight bitterness on the finish. Very good.

JDBaker11058 (1269) - Maryland, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Appearance: lightly hazed golden pour with a two finger white head. Aroma: some doughy malts, with floral and yeasty notes. Taste: a bit of crackery pie crust, honey, and strong banana-y esters. Finish: slick, sweetish, with lingering yeasty banana notes. Notes: Did not care for this at all. Flavors seemed muddled, palate was almost oily and flat, and the nose seemed off. Perhaps an overly old bottle.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large, frothy white head, long retention with great lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt, notes of honey and biscuit malt, fragrant fruity esters and barely perceptible hops. Flavor is malt dominant, lightly sweet with fruity esters and a very dry finish. Medium body, low warmth, medium-low carbonation.
