Poured a dark, hazy golden color with a small white head that disappeared quickly. Sweet candy aromas of yeast, honey and butterscotch. Earthy sweet flavors of honey, spices and fruit. Finish is very dry with lively carbonation. A very well made beer from one of my favorite styles.

0.75l - Straw clorored liquid under thick white head. Woody, vegtable nose. No real flavor, watery and refreshing. Nutty flavor entered as it warmed. A solid example of the style.

11.2 oz bottle to tulip. Pours golden and hazy with nice thick white head. Saison and grass. Great palate, very smooth. Fantastic finish. Rivals any farmhouse style ale. A really wonderful beer.

Pours a hazy blonde color with a good head and good retention. The aroma is honey with a nice light spiciness and baguette just tons of fresh baked baguette. The flavor is very bready with some good yeastiness, generally dry but has a nice sweet honey flavor that kind of lingers. Really tasty stuff.

Bottle at Cafe Margot in Nashville, TN. Pours a hazy golden amber with a dissipating white head. Aroma of yeast and hay. Nice earthy mouthfeel. Flavor of honey, white pepper, grains, and clove. Yeasty and somewhat grassy finish. Solid example of the style.

Nice clear orange-yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Slightly nutty malty aroma. Flowery with mild hops. Very dry with flowery malt. Bitter finish with some hops. Very clean and refreshing.

750mL bottle, thanks to ryan. Pours a pale hazy yellow. Aroma has herbs, citrus and yeast. Taste is nice and dry, with lots of yeast and a gentle bitter hop finish. Nice beer.

Hay/dough and herbal nose; touch floral. Well attenuated, soft luxurious body, cotton candy and honey, bready malts, light herbal hops, some grass. Finishes rather dry with a very floral bitterness. Gentle, but moderate carbonation. Just my thing. Excellent, excellent stuff.

Bottle from La Trappe in San Fran. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is great; barn, hay, sweet honey. A similar flavor; sweet grains, honey, hay. Smooth and tasty. Very nice.

sample on 4/1/10... light golden pour with a white head... light fruit nose with some apple... light body with more fruit, apple skin, green grapes... sweet finish... good carbonation throughout... dry finish.
