(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and tart with hints of earth, yeast, flowers, and lots of fruit. Flavor is much the same. Lots of sweet fruit and yeast notes begin with a mildly spicy flavor near the end. Very bready.

Bottle enjoyed on the outdoor patio at The Grand in Grand Haven, MI during the Fourth of July Fireworks show, ’09. Nice attractive orangish pour with fizzy head that emits a yeasty/fruity nose. The yeasty fruitiness predominates in flavor as well, along with some herbal hopping, spicy notes, and touches of bready sweet malt. Good...refreshing.

Bottle. Pours golden orange with an off white head. Light sweet malty aroma with some spicy hints and a light must. The flavor has a sweet malt base with some spicy and herbal notes. Pretty good.

Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Bready citrus aroma. Bright palate and a crisp citrus bread taste

Big Saaz aroma. Deceptively dry but with medium body. Very light flavors, only hints of spices and herbs on a french bread background. Finishes slightly herbal and cooling without bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy yellow, medium white head, some lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, touch of spice. Flavor is also sweet malt, spice and a touch of fruit, mainly apple and some peach notes. Nice mouthfeel, smooth and enjoyable.

Pour is a bright golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and bready. Flavor is sweet, fruity and a bit dusty. Light finish and nothing really lasting after the swallow. Probably average for the style but it has its qualities.

Tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a gold color with a white head and no lace. The aroma is yeasty and slightly floral. The flavor is rather understated, somewhat fruity, a minor hint of hops that linger, and overall clean. The palate is refreshing. Overall, this is good at the table with chicken. There are better examples, but this one is OK.

Bottle. Mild dusty malt flavor, earthy notes. Pale golden body, big fluffy white head. Certainly an inoffensive beer, but really not a whole lot to it. Fresh hay, some malt. Pretty blah.

I can’t believe I paid $5.50 for this, however the 11.2oz bottle is awesome looking. Pours golden with a minimal white fine sizzling head. Malty and funky aroma, grassy, sweet, light honey, caramel. A very sweet grassy beer, honey and lighter caramel, toffee, nice grassy hops, lightly spiced, mildly bitter. Straight forward but very tasty, malty, hint of acid, dry finish. Highly carbonated, sharp and fine, yet in nice balance with the smooth body.
