Pours a hazy golden with a large puffy white head and plenty of lace. Subtle malty and Belgian yeasty aroma. Light sugary body, perhaps too sweet. Dry bitter flavor toward the end. Not a bad Biere de Garde, but could use some balance and complexity.

750, corked and baled. Pours a crystal clear medium gold. Thick, fizzy platinum blonde head that falls quickly to film. Light stringy lace. Sweet, somewhat cloying aroma of grass, caramel, and toffee. Medium, slightly undercarbonated body. Sweet, cloying, grassy, caramelly, toffeeish. Definitely needs to scale back the sweetness in several directions. Long sticky sweet finish.

Whole Foods, Sandy Springs, Ga. - 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly murky, medium golden with a very frothy white starchy head with excellent lacing. Fresh, lemony aroma with hints of mown grass. Flavor has some slight caramel notes, some essences of raw cookie dough and a hint of lemon. Mouthfeel is decently sticky and thick. Astyle I am still tryin got get a handle on - but this appears to be a good sample of one.

Bottle courtesy of deyholla (and I’d be blacklisted if I didn’t specifically list his girlfriend, as the contributor). Pours a golden bright hue, a bit dulled, no haze, frothy filmed whitish head laces small, films. Aromas are funky skunky grains, a touch of pear, apple, grains, bread, faint sweet honey. Initial is light bodied, fruity tartness of pear and hardcore apple juice, touch of bread, grains, faint honey, vanilla, no real hop bitterness. Mellow sweetness, tart fruit, light funk or skunk. Mellow, slightly tart, a bit of skunk and shelf wear is evident. Dissappointing for it’s ranking, but not bad by any stretch.

Pale yellow body(blond) fills the snifter, almost clear with a deceptive short-lasting head. Obviously bottle-conditioned, coarse sediments are everywhere in suspension from the beginning of the pour, it's almost ridiculous. Aroma is pleasant straw (I wouldn't combine those 2 words usually, but this seemed like a good fit with the ensemble), light field hops. The sniff would gain a lot from being more intense. Fruity Biere de Garde: peaches and apples endow the tongue together with caramelic malts and subtle flowery hops. The finish is sweet like a pears pie. Body is medium and creamy. Nicely done beer, certainly not world-class, but like any Biere de Garde, this has a definite cachet to me, besides being effortlessly drinkable.

Poured with a nice solid head over cloudy yellow. Musty honey aroma. Very banana-spiced flavor, with a hint of peppery spice. Crazy stuff.
