1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 15, 2005
Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), with notes of apple and plastic. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic. Another sad, unpleasant beer from Castelain. Arrggh.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Wacher (129) - Århus C, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2005
Mørk gylden øl, med lille hoved. Dufter af gæret frugt. Smager af figner og nødder. En anelse gæret maltet surhed ... og en anelse kedelig egentlig.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JPDIPSO (4956) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 5, 2005
Pleasant Coper/bronze color with a smallish cream colored lid. Caramel with a bit apple and cinnamon in the nose. Dry light yeasty (cobweb) start leads so a moderately sweet middle with with some dry toffee and hint of fruit. Some nuttiness in the finish. Fairly simple and boring.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2005 pours amber colour, very small head which is quick to dissipate. Smells of sour apples and a sickly toffee. tastes of more toffee, but with a sour finish. I really did not enjoy drinking this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dornoy (699) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2004
Off-white head, amber colour, aroma reminding og nuts and fruits. The flavour has an aftertaste of fruits and nuts too. A nice, well balanced bière de grade, although not the best I have tasted.

(on bottle)Soft, some rotten fruit, not much. Some tree-flavours, but still, not much. Malts, anonomes. We lokked a long time any carataristics on this one. It was´n´t there.
