Bottle 750ml. The aroma is of malts, caramel, fruits and toasted oats. It pours a deep reddish brpwn with a thin but lasting head. Taste starts with a sweetness, maybe raisins, passing to malt, burnt caramel with a mildly bitter finish. This is, I think the best beer from pas de calais region I have found. There are better belgian beers - and from the rest of france too - but this is not a bad bottle should you come across it.

Rating #755, bottle from Fakta

A reddish amber coloured beer with ok head. Aroma is caramel and grain. Flavour of lavender and citrus combined with caramellish malts and some alcohol. Non-impressive palate. Acceptable beer, but nothing spectacular. I could get better belgian beer for the same price.

light floral, golden, red, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, thin feel, flat carbonation, abrupt finish It was a big disappointment - our intensions was great because of the belgium origin, but the beer was to tasteless and without any personality. We missed some characteristics and some richness.
