Fizzy head, but the appearence is enhanced by the deep amber colour of the beer. The aroma has plenty of apple and pear scents, and the taste is fairly fruity with a pleasant palate.

Tap. Pours clear amber/ruby with a trace of fizzy, white head around the rim. Aroma is barnyard fruit, floral and grassy hops, caramel malt, yeast and light honey. Flavor is sweet malt dominate with some supporting fruit esters; dry finish with flavor dissipating quickly. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

Tap. Pours clear tawny with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malt, dates and cellar notes. Flavor is malt dominant with medium fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Lightly carbonized, and a little bit empty on the palate, with a light caramel aftertaste and light bitterness, for true better on the aroma than on a taste. Aroma is a little bit grainy and malty, maybe a little bit cheesy.

250 ml bottle bought in Jumbo, Santiago de Chile In the glass the beer looks hazy and amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty with notes of honey, dried apricots, rhubarb, currants and cereal. Pretty nice. Taste is moderately sweet, dry and cereally. It ends much better than the beginning. Some bread, straw and toasty hints.
Medium bodied. Simple and straight-forward. The aroma promises more than what it delivers. Alcohol is not present at all. Little carbonation. A good French Biére de Garde but a little expensive here in Chile.

Starts off with a strong smell of honey which carries through on the first touch of the tongue. Afterwards there is some earthy musk to it. The best of the Ch’tis I’ve had.

Clear copper red beer, small light beige head, unstable, dissipates completely fast. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, bit dirty, dried prunes. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: dried fruits, some raisins, sweet malts, caramel, bit of toast, bitter hops. Aftertaste: toasted malts, caramel, hint of sweetness, peaches.

Bottle from Bierzwerg web shop. Bottle. Amber color with medium white head. Highly carbonated. Aroma of malt, honey, red fruit, some woody hints. Taste, quite sweet, with malt and honey, wood,some brandy like notes. Sweet finish. interesting but little bit sweet for me.

Deep red-amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, some caramel, light raspberry. Highish carbonation, fine dry and light creamy palate. Flavour is sweet, light grassy hops, caramel, some mild berries. Good, lingering toasted notes. Mild, but quite good.
