(Bottled, 0.25l) Opaque light yellow color with small head. Very strong aroma with perfume / eau de toilette, lemon and grapefruit. Very much like the Finnish mead, spiced with raisins and lemon! Very citrusy flavor with yeast and aromatic hops. Light-bodied, medium-carbonated palate. It’s hard to rate this beer, as all I could think of drinking this was home-made mead (that many Finns brew for the labour day).

Bottle 75cl, a slightly cloudy yellow beer with almost no head. Nose is lemony. Aroma is mostly dry with spice, fruit and astringency, orange peel notes, medium malty to low, finish has a nice round bitterness. Easy drinkable, apricot, apple and oranges notes.

Little cloudy golden beer, small white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: a bit off, unusual grains (wheat or spelt), spicy yeast notes. MF: good carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, bit of hops, bitter oranges. Aftertaste: tartness, bit lemony, medicinal bitter ending.

750 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Slightly cloudy golden colour with tiny white head. Yeast, caramel toffee, mild sourness and mild wheat in aroma. Sourish fruit, sweet toffee and dry wheat. Not that successful Witbier.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2011 There are interesting champagne flavours in this otherwise bland, lifeless and watery pale beer. Probably best drunk well chilled on a hot day. [2.8]
I’m now drinking it well chilled a couple of days later, and, indeed, it is a pleasant, fruity, fragrant and refreshing beer. Nice. [3.2]

White foamy head. Cloudy pale goldn colour. Aroma is moderately malty, with light fruity and tobacco notes. Flavor is malty too with strong spicy and light fruity (pear) tones, ending in moderately fruity finish. Light to medium bodied.

I had it over 2 years past it’s due date. The cork flew off violently by just uncaging it. It was supremely carbonated and effervescent, a clear gold. It tasted like champagne mixed with vanilla and coriander spiced apples. Interesting.

Bouteille 75cl.

’Tesco Finest French Wheatbeer’. Very pale wheat beer. Unusual - pronounced cloves. A hint of coriander. The barest hint of orange. Frothy, light and champagne dry.
