Bottle. Golden, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish aroma, caramel and light floral fruitiness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some fruitiness, faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, some caramel and faint hoppyness, light alcohol. Sweetish French ale with caramel - lacks character.

33 cl. bottle @ Ralph’s bar – possible a vintage. Consumed @ my goodbye office party. Picked out by a wonderful ex-co-worker. Slightly better but not much than the Carlsberg I was drinking @ the same time. Probably not to of or very authentic for the style. Golden, lightly hazy, white head. Quite grainy, some cornflakes, hay, bit dull yeast, malty, some white spices & herbs, dull hops. m/m body meh – still this is the same thing I would have chosen – so well-done – thx!

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma and taste are quite neutral. Cautious grainy and husky notes, a touch of citrus fruits in taste. Absolutely anaemic.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is hay, yeast and malt. The flavour sweet malty and hoppy with some yeasty notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

erickok (3185) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - FEB 2, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 Slightly darkish, golden body with firm big frothy head. Bit too clear but not bad. Unfortunately it has a grainy smell, cheap, corn flakes, no hops, mouldy. Very light, unimaginative taste to it, light bitter with a yeasty after taste. Actually the yeast saves this brew from being totally boring. Smooth drinkable body. Not as bad as expected but not great either. (50cl can from Carrefour in Tours)

On tap at Gare du Nord, Paris. Hazy copper body with medium had. Nose is fruity, caramel some dairy notes. Taste is caramel, fruits, orange peel, some limes and also malty taste. Pretty good. Citrus in the finish.

750ml bottle. Dark golden beer with standard head. Palate is medium thick and neither watery, nor creamy. I recommend.
