Big bottle, little umph.
Caged 75cl bottle, bought from Boozers Warehouse, Calais (1.99 Euro) in Dec 2006, drank Dec 2006, best by Feb 2007.
Very light golden in colour, with a constant flow of bubbles flowing towards the thin white foaming head.
Weak aroma of oak or beach sap.
Tastes of nothing really, very disappointing for a 6.4% beer.
Again no real mouthfeel, so no drinkability either!

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, sugar, hay. Flavour is malt, sugar, hop, grain, yeast. Medium body. OK beer.

Aromas of yeast and basic belgian beer.
Same as taste.
Not the most tasty beer but for sure I liked it...

Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, grass and fruity notes. Flavour is malt, caramel, grass, pine and fruity notes.

Clear golden color with a nice creamy white head. Malty aroma. Sweet malty flavor.

A bit of a strong smell with a taste of alcohol and only the faintest funk that I expected after the Biere de garde I had. Not really that memorable.

clear blond beer, off-white aery head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: candi sugar, unripe fruits, green banana, bit of malts. Mf: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit of honey, sweet malts, sugar, grapefruit, oranges. Aftertaste: little bitter, fruity touches. Non offensive and that’s about it.

Bottle at Fallstaff in Paris. Dark golden color with huge white head. Aroma of caramel, wood, toffee. Taste, mostly toffee, yeast, fruity hints. Bittersweet finish. Drinkable.
