Can 50cl at auchan Illkirch FR. A yellow clear beer with medium white head. Aroma is ok on malt side, medium sweet but low hops. Low fruit notes, light agrume finish, not bad at all but not exceptional.

Biggish offwhite head. Yellow body. Herbal papery aroma of dry maquis with raisin notes. Very clear and distinct. Dry-sweet papery raisiny strawy taste with spicy herbal notes. Light body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry cinnamon and spice aftertaste with herbal notes. Not very distinct from main taste, really. Very nice. Harmonic and vivid. Really enjoyed this. (0.5l can, E. Leclerc, Fondettes.)

(Old BA rate - bottle) Pours with a frothy white head that held just OK, not much lacing; crystal clear orangeish yellow hue. Some sweet apple aromas; a little bready; pretty uninteresting actually in the aroma. Light hoppiness; dry earth tones; some mild fruitiness; pretty middle-of-the road, but not bad. hinner body; dry; tiny bubbles of carbonation. Not bad drinking as it’s inoffensive but not the most interesting in the style range. Verges on macro in terms of the feel and taste of the brew

caged bottle. golden pour with thick white head. aroma, grassy and citrus hops that I found to really give a nice dimension to the beer along with mild yeast. flavors, yeasty, med-high carbonation, nice floral hops with a lingering spicy hop finish.

750ml bottle from SAQ. into tulip, pours a pale golden colour with a thick and lasting white head. aroma is grassy, corn, almost lager-like. taste is spicy with malty notes up front and bitter hops on the finish. again, i find this beer very lager-like. not bad, but no where near great either. i won’t be buying again.

Amber with a nice head. Aroma of yeast, spice and grass. Sweet flavour dominated by spices (coriander) and orange with a weak bitter finish.

Golden robe with a quickly gone white head. Smells of yeast, roasty malt and caramel. Good corpse full of toffey/caramel with a spicy hops final. Oily texture with a little bitterness. Not a great one but a good try from France.

75cl bottle. Pours clear and golden with a large frothy white head. The aroma is sweet and a little yeasty. Taste is dry and sweet. Interesting ale, but a little too sweet for me.
