UPDATED: APR 19, 2013 750mL bottle from the STAR marché in Arras, France. Pours a nice bright gold with a large white head. The aroma bursts with pepper and grassy hops, and enticingly rich pale malts. Flavour is just awesome, full of honeycomb-like malts and a peppery zing to add balance in the finish. Not super complex, but what there is is bloody fantastic. Refreshing on a hot day, yet a bit boozy. I could drink boat-loads of this stuff, good thing it seems to be everywhere. Not sure where the mediocre rating is coming from, but then again I like this style quite a lot. And this pale variety of said style is spot on.

Pours a lightly hazed golden amber with a quarter inch of pure white sudsy foam. Decent head retention, very nice webby lacing, with a steady stream of carbonation. Mild aroma lightly sweet and fruity. Mellow tasty flavor - tangy and lightly sweet wheat malt, a light sweet apricot, herbal hops. It is drier in the finish, with the wheat and the herbal hop character standing out. Not quite medium body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Plentiful carbonation - ever so slightly fizzy

750 mL Bottle. Clear gold body with foamy-fluffy white head that settles to a tenacious layer. Lively carbonation. Aroma of light sweet malts, grains, wildflowers, honey, and innuendos of citrus peels and spruce. Flavor of light sweet malts with an accentuation of caramel, hops come up in the aftertaste as a citrus-spruce character rounded out by a butterscotch expression. The finish is sweet malt-creamy. Nice beery-fizzy in the mouth. I could drink this any day.

75 cl bottle, hard to find in Denmark. White head, fast disappearing, on a crisp golden body. Flavour is malty, a bit fruity and enough sweetness to compensate. Very pleasing balance, feel very fresh and does not taste alcoholic at all. I’m rather partial in favour of Ch’ti beer, and this was confirmed in this very nice brew.

Bottle. Clear amber, big clingy head. Apple-cinnamon flavor. Dry finish with a touch of pear. Very smooth yet assertive mouthfeel. Well-done.
