Yellow pale color, rather extinguished and with a light fizz. Light and dense head, discreet duration. Light scent, light aged with aromas of wine cellar, clear mildew and yeast. Simple, winy and lightly little pungent taste. Short and fading end.

(750ml bottle) Pours lightly hazy golden body with a small egg white head. Aroma of caramel, apple, honey, florals, and herbs. Flavor of caramel, apple, earthiness, and herb with a somewhat medicinal and metallic finish.

Bottle at Emil’s knidly given to us at the Biere Mondiale, Strasbourg 2009. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet with aromas of caramel. Slightly spicy with hints of diacetyl. Tiny peppary hints. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Boring.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Fruity nose, a little bubblegum. Medium body, quite thick, sweet malts, massive carbonation, again perfumy before a boozy and hoppy finish. Unrefined to say the least. 120713

Sehr sehr komisches Bier. Die 7,5% schmeckt man deutlich - ich finde, es ist die 2,40€ für die 0,75l-Flasche nicht wert...

0.33L bottle. Golden, small top. Sweet hop aroma and generally aroma is weak.. Moldy books, caramel, flavors. Quite boring taste and mixes. Little alcohol in the end, but It does not interfere. Not so good, not so bad.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Unremarkble clear fizzy strong beer. It’s not offensive, there are no off flavours, maybe I’m biased by the fact that they’ve called it a Triple. Doesn’t seem to be bottle conditioned. No head retention. Aroma malty, agree with Joeh there is butter, but no obvious yeast. Finish metallic, slightly cloying, little bit of alcohol. Bit like an Oktoberfest style lager. Just not a Triple, guys (and I’d like to think I’m really quite progressive, not a style-nazi).

75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Deep amber comlour with thin off white lasting head. Slightly sickly aroma. Bit syrupy and treacley in mouth. Not as good as the blonde or brune from the same brewery. Some toffee on end and some hop but overall not that impressed

Large Bottle. Pale gold colour, plenty of fizz with a large white head. Very easy drinking beer which is a bit too heavy on the honey laden overtones. The sweetness ruined it a little for me as all I could taste and think of was this.
