2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Yellow body, white head. Aroma is semisweet malt, medicinal hops and play-doh. Very smooth and foamy for a lager. Malty toasty taste with some sweetness and round hops.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival, as Jade Bière Blonde. I did not take note of the brewery, but thought it was Belgian - but might well be mistaken. The label looked different, though. I hope I’m rating the the right beer. Pale golden colour. This is an ordinary pilsener / pale lager with a little malts in aroma and flavour, and a slight acidity in the finish. Drinkable, but nothing special.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rating #506, bottle from France. Thanks to Vivi and Flemming
This is a deep golden beer with a nice head. Aroma is ascorbic acid, sharp hops, a bit alcohol and a touch of caramel. Flavor is almost the same. Not so obvious caramel, though, but more alcohol and a mild bitter finish. Easy to drink with it’s soft, light palate. A real festival beer to be drinked in great amounts.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Big swing-top bottle from MonoPrix, Paris. Organic lager. Light and drinkable, but soon turns cereal flavoured and ugly. Mostly flavourless. France’s first organic beer. Big deal.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Lager like in appearnece. Not very good nose - bad things. The taste is also bad with acidity and sulphurous waste.
I give up on trying finding an organic beer that is not just marketing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Looking at a fading sunset in the French hills near the côte d’azur, I opened this brew bought at a local supermarket. Except for the thick foamy white head that leaves lacing, this seems to be just an ordinary lager. A little more rough and some interesting sweetness in the flavor. Quite watery finish though and nothing much in the aroma either. Ah well, it’s not that bad, just a bit boring. Will finish my bottle though.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Light blonde color, clear, low, fine, foamy head.
Sweet, malty, buttery aroma, fruits, esp. citrus, honey. A rather unpleasant aroma, weird, with malt vinegar and sweat.
Sweet, malty aroma, estery fruit, a touch of orange, honey. There is a good bit of bitter hop and a slight sour tang in the finish. Should be colder…not very good..

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle 33cl. A yellow clear beer. Smell is very bitter and sour. Aroma is very bitter and spicy, smell is lager like, even burnt notes at the finish. There is a huge bitterness there, from dry hoping, infection, notes of solvent. Quite bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Found Carrefour Argenton @ Argenton (France) taste 02.08.2010.
Bit hazy (dark)golden color, with to offwhite head.
Aroma very full of grains, bit hops.
Taste sweet, nice malts, good hops, with fruits touch, and little spice. Refreshing and easy to drink, good beer for this 4,5 abv. Like it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
65cl flip top bottle.
Interesting organic beer.
light golden in color with white head.
aroma is grainy, hoppy with nice floral elements.
flavors, has a nice fresh hop presence, brown sugar and nice malty palate.
Easy to drink, light palate sweet and malty, lingering citrus hops, a nice change from what can usually be found in French supermarkets.
