Light in color with a very faint aroma. The taste is light and smooth with no sharpness to the finish. Slightly fruity, not very complex.

Nothing special here, except that it is an organic beer. Yellow colour with almost no head. Faint taste and aroma. Not bad, but there are better organic beers than that.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2003
Honey color with a very small lid of off white bubbles. Aromas of stale pale malt and floral hops. Fluffy malt flavors with undertones of farmhouse yeast and light perfumy hops. Dryer in the finish with little to show for itself.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheBeerGod (4130) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - OCT 22, 2003
Odd beer. Pours a hazed blond. Small white head. Nose is odd it's fruit and grains and maybe cardboard. The taste effervescent but not in a champagne sort of way. Some tingle on the tongue but definite malt and fruit flavors dominating this one. Has sort of a dry chalky finish. Not a bad beer, but not an award winner either. Definitely worth trying though!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Brodie (540) - Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA - OCT 17, 2003
Aroma is mostly malt - substantial caramel, with light fruitiness (the fruit smell is strong, but its light fruit). Very clear light amber, not the best head retention. Flavor matches the aroma. Actually tastes like an English pale minus the hops (very similar to the Sam Smith Winter Welcome I had yesterday). Medium body with moderate carbonation. A decent beer - lacks complexity, not really strong enough to be a biere de garde. Good session beer.

Pale yellow, slightly, no head> Yeasty/musty aroma. Slightly sour taste with hints of malt and hops. OK.

Mildly dry lemony citrus aroma. A bit woody, sweet, very light and whispy, birch tree bark and moderately dry finish with loads of setiment.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Gusler (2654) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 16, 2003
A somewhat hazy golden yellow color on the pour, the head “Average” In size, structure is frothy, the color off white and the lace left behind is a fine sheet to conceal the glass. Nose is dominated by malt, lightly sweet, fresh and clean, start is sweet malt, the top cadaverous. Finish is lightly acidic, the hops sparse in their bite, dry as a bone aftertaste, drinkable, but certainly nothing to write home about, “Average”, nothing more, nothing less.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 npdempse (932) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2003
Golden in color, with a small head. Aroma is sweet, with touches of hay and a wet dog. Mine proved a bit overly effervescent, which got in the way of the flavor a bit. What flavor I did taste seemed pleasant enough--sweet, somewhat bready, with a good bitter dose of Saaz.
