4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
If anyone is looking for me I’ll be in French Flanders. Kicked back with a loaf of crusty bread, some soft bleu cheese, A pet goat named Pierre, and a glass of Korma Blonde Ale.
Corked 750. Pour this one easily. My usual healthy pour created a head that rose a full inch above the glass rim and in the end I was left with a perfect marshmallow ball of foam. Slightly hazy pale yellow cast. Nose is malty musty and hints of spice. Malt sweetness with an underlying earthy, oaken flavor is balanced perfectly with a mildly clean hop finish. Introduce this to your wine drinking friends and force them to tell you truth when you inquire about the depth and complexity of flavors as compared to their favorite wines. Quality, indeed!

Pale but dense cloudy appearance , moderate head formation. Sweet malts, light fruits, red apple, spice and wood tones. Sweet vivid red apple flavor is strong at first before it gets balance a little by some dry peppery dpice tones and a sour bitterness in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This blond ale pours a hazy, pale yellow color with a lasting, creamy white head. The flavor is spicy and sweet, with lots of fruity notes and a slight dryness. The finish is long and fruity. The aroma is very spicy and fruity with hints of yeast, orange, and apricot. It has a medium body with lively carbonation and a creamy smooth mouth feel. A very tasty treat from France.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy tangerine. A minty & herbaceous scent is noticable first in the nose, followed by a hint of white peach, barnyard and honey. Slight sourness in the flavor (which was present in the aroma as well) along with that cloying and sticky mouthfeel that is present in a lot of French beers in this style. Hints of grass, hay and spoiled pear are present as well. Fizzy, yet creamy. Not bad and the aroma is particularly pleasing.

Is ok. Decent level of complexity for a belgian blonde, although I certainly didn't taste seven malts.
